Dr.Lucchina, is a medical doctor, specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, Hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery, and the founder of the Locarno Hand Center in the heart of Canton of Ticino, Switzerland. The Locarno Hand Center has as its background the beautiful Lake Maggiore, easily accessible from major European airports.

Our patients have access to the most advanced microsurgical techniques and the most sophisticated radiological techniques (digital x-rays and US with 18 Mhz probes). With the help of physiotherapists and qualified Hand therapists, we offer optimum conservative or post-operative therapies with a “highly professional”approach combined to an extraordinary attention to the privacy and the personal feelings of the person. The patient and their needs are at the center of a team where all the attention is focused on people and not just on their illness.
All clinical problems related to pathologies of the hands, wrist and elbow or needing a microsurgical reconstruction of all parts of the body can be solved in a single place: the Locarno Hand Center.
International patients from all over the world benefit from a International support. There are many ways to organize a trip to Locarno: the best hotel accomodations in the region with private transfers from major airports, as well as social events, beautiful trips for luxury shoppings in the capital of fashion are all well resons to come to Locarno in a beautiful, relaxing and quite place.
